Each room has two queen-size beds, seating, A/C, cable TV, hot and cold water, ceiling fan plus private bath. Rooms are a good size and nicely decorated. Hotel Pantoja provides daily maid service and also offers laundry services. Prices for a single are $280 pesos a night and $360 pesos double; 60 pesos for each additional person. For longer stays, ask about their discounted rates.
 

Gardens with topiary surround the hotel and provide a beautiful highlight to the balconies overlooking the courtyard and parking areas. Owner Señora Amparo Pantoja and her family are on hand to greet guests and offer advice on what to see and do in the Chetumal area.
 
Have a question, want to find something in town, or need directions? Just ask at the front desk for friendly help. There's lots to do and see nearby. If you're hungry, don't forget to ask for directions to the family's restaurant, Pantoja, which is ½ block from the Maya Museum and the central market. You'll find good, inexpensive food and the hospitality at the restaurant equal to that at the hotel.
