Universum K9 offers Chetumal's most comprehensive range of pet services and supplies. We provide consults on all types of problems, ranging from accident and acute care, to routine checkups, to breeding, training, and grooming. And, our "canine hotel" is a place your pet will feel comfortable and safe when you are traveling, just like in your own home. 
If your pet is injured or in need of surgery, our surgery suite includes a full complement of surgical tools plus X-ray and ultrasound machines as well as an onsite laboratory. Veterinarian Rafael Estrada González provides orthopedic, ophthalmologic, genito-urinary, neurological, dermatology, internal medicine, and arthroscopic surgeries and can also address comportment problems in many breeds.
Universum K9 provides dog and cat grooming services. Our groomers are experienced with a wide variety of styles of breeds. We have a very large repeat business from clients who love the way their pets look. Also available are routine care like bathing, cutting hair and nails, grooming, cleaning ears, and oral hygiene as well as medicinal baths for problems with parasites, ticks or fleas.
Universum K9 offers dog training by our professionally-trained staff. For pets, three obedience courses are offered: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Obedience Training. Additional training programs are available for working dogs: Guard Dog Training and Specialty Training. Contact the office for more information and schedule.
