Tours

Villa Manati tours are an easy and fun way to spend less than a day experiencing some of the best the Costa Maya has to offer. We've come up with a number of options to think about, but we're also happy to work with you to create the perfect tour based upon the interests of your group. Call to talk or to arrange a time to meet.

Each Villa Manati tour includes everything you need: transportation, taxes, traveler's insurance, knowledgeable guide, professional equipment, training, and box lunch and beverage. Land tours utilize Villa Manati's new 13-seat van with panoramic windows, reclining seats, and individual A/C and lighting controls or, for larger parties, a private, first-class tourist bus. Water segments of tours use one or more of Villa Manati's fleet of pontoon, run-about, speed-boat, or motor yachts always ready at our dock directly on the Bay of Chetumal. Prices below, except Wild River, are based upon a tour with ten people.

Bay of ChetumalCITY TOUR - 5 hours     Tour in the Villa Manati bus around the city of Chetumal and to the ruin of Oxtankah, north of Calderitas. Rio Hondo near ChetumalWILD RIVER - 2 hours     Travel on one of the Villa Manati pontoon boats for a guided adventure from the Bay of Chetumal up into the RioHondo to the International Bridge. Luxuriant, exotic tropical plants line the river bank and you can hear birds and wildlife in the surrounding jungle. Bromeliads, orchids, and vines hang from the dense trees and lucky travelers may see alligators, large iguanas, and manatees. Includes a look at the sunken ships -- 30 to 40 foot long barges used 100 years ago to haul precious hardwoods out of the Belize jungles and down the river to Chetumal.
